As of yesterday, Ash Wednesday, the season of Lent has begun. Lent is a season of fasting, prayer and reflection observed in many Christian denominations. Lent is a 40 day period lasting from Ash Wednesday and ending on Easter. We understand that not everyone will participate in Lent in the most traditional sense. However, there are many ways to use this 40 day period to be intentional about growing closer to Christ.
